Work starts on breathing new life into Fort Dunlop atrium

Work is set to begin on an exciting new phase of work at Fort Dunlop that will play a key part in transforming the iconic building. The 300,000 sq ft mixed use building was acquired last summer by a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners, in partnership with EDG Property, and the new owners have already been busy on various external works including a complete rebranding and upgrading its car parking offer. EDG Launches Construction Arm

EDG Property has established a new construction arm to build out the second phase of its award-winning School Yard development in Birmingham. EDG Build has initially been created to build out the new homes in the Harborne scheme but director Neil Edginton said it also reflected the aspirations of EDG Property. Harborne clock tower development The School Yard sold

The clock tower building in Harborne has been sold in an undisclosed deal after being redeveloped in the depths of the recession. City firm EDG Property has sold the first phase of The School Yard development to asset management company Avignon Capital. The scheme at the Grade II-listed Victorian former school, famous for its clock tower, is now fully let but EDG Property director Neil Edginton said it had been a major turnaround from when he first unveiled the scheme in a depressed property market in 2012.
