The latest phase a of a multi-million pound upgrade one of the region’s best known mixed use developments is underway. Fort Dunlop in Birmingham has been undergoing a major facelift since it was acquired by a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners in partnership with EDG Property in 2014. The ongoing transformation of Birmingham’s premier mixed use development has been boosted after securing a national coffee shop brand as its latest new tenant. Fort Dunlop is currently undergoing a major multi-million pound overhaul following its acquisition by a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners in partnership with EDG Property with a view to enhancing the facilities for the 2,500 workers at the scheme and encouraging more retail and leisure visitors. A Midlands recruitment specialist is launching a new operation at Fort Dunlop in one of three new lettings at the iconic Birmingham mixed-use development. Vivate Recruitment, which is based in Walsall and specialises in the automotive, aerospace and energy sectors, has taken 12,000 sq ft on the fourth floor of the Castle Bromwich scheme. Existing occupier Inspired Thinking Group, a marketing company with clients including Renault and Heineken, has also expanded its Fort Dunlop to 20,000 sq ft after leasing an additional 2,000 sq ft.
