High Profile Residents choose The Co-Operative

Sky Blues striker Maxime Biamou has dropped a big hint about where his future lies after laying down roots in Coventry city centre. The Frenchman, who is a firm favourite amongst Coventry City fans, has purchased an apartment at The Co-Operative, which is the regeneration of the former Co-op department store into high-specification apartments, offices, café bars and restaurants. Rodizio Rico signed for The Co-Operative

The taste of Brazil is coming to a major regeneration project in Coventry city centre. Rodizio Rico, an exclusive London headquartered Brazilian-themed restaurant, has signed up to take a 3,500 sq ft unit at The Co-Operative – the redevelopment of the former Co-Op department store by award winning EDG Property. Confidence boost for Coventry after successful start at The Co-Operative

The early success at Coventry’s most ambitious mixed-used, city centre development should give a confidence boost to the city. That is the view of Councillor Jim O’Boyle, Cabinet Member for Jobs and Regeneration, who was speaking at the topping out ceremony of EDG Property’s The Co-Operative development in Corporation Street. Cafe Morso comes to The Co-Operative

A growing café bar company has signed up to be part of a major new development in Coventry. Café Morso, an independently run company, has five venues across the Midlands and will make Coventry its sixth when it moves into The Co-Operative – a landmark regeneration project being undertaken by award-winning EDG Property. The cool café serves coffees and teas during the day along with breakfasts, cakes and lunches, but then offers a mix of beers and gins in the evening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The first restaurant has signed up to The Co-Operative development in Coventry, bringing a new dining experience to the city. Steakout, which already has eight venues – predominantly in the South East – is investing around £500,000 and creating 20 jobs at the restaurant inside the former Co-Op in the city centre.
