Spectus start construction at The School Yard
It’s been an exciting week at The School Yard with work commencing on EDG Property’s residential building with Spectus Construction having been awarded the £2.1m build contract for phase 2 of the Harborne scheme. The Worcestershire based Spectus Construction is all set to deliver the final part of this successful mixed-use development with a contemporary zinc building home to thirteen boutique apartments, duplexes and townhouse. New cafe that’s full of character
The Boston Tea Party staged a memorable early evening party to mark the opening of their 15th café-bar at The School Yard in Harborne. Following a ten-week build, the new café unit has been transformed into a beautifully designed space that can seat 100 guests inside, with a further 50 outside in a private walled garden at the Grade II listed landmark. The walled space used to be the garden of the Victorian school building’s headmaster’s house. Government advisor to set up The School Yard’s Food School
EDG Property is delighted to have secured an exciting Food School for The School Yard with Government advisory and businesswoman, Shaleen Meelu. Cooking classes and support for food entrepreneurs will be on offer at Harborne Food School. The school will have a training room and a demonstration area where Ms Meelu plans to bring in chefs and farmers to give talks on food-related issues and a private dining area, which can be hired out for corporate events.
