Fort Dunlop Rooftop Christmas Party set to be a Showstopper

The UK’s most innovative property management company, Capital Properties, has secured a prime spot in an entertaining ITV2 documentary The Office Xmas Party to showcase their dynamic approach to events, experiential marketing and installations for the property sector.

Capital Properties, which has a place in the Top 100 Great Places to Work, offers unique placemaking services in addition to service-led property management. Through its Capital Life arm, which has more than doubled in size this year, Capital Properties transforms places into destinations by creating and delivering dynamic events on behalf of clients to enhance their commercial assets.

The documentary, which airs on Wednesday 17^th December at 9pm, follows the Capital Life team as they prepare, plan and execute their riskiest and most ambitious internal event ever. Hosted on the roof of Birmingham’s iconic Fort Dunlop building, the Christmas party has been a top-secret project for seven weeks bringing together two spaces under an icy woodland and Narnia-inspired theme.  A giant tepee with log fires and Yuletide merriment will transform one half of the roof, while a lavish igloo nightclub will dominate the other half.

The team has gone above and beyond what is ordinarily expected of a ‘traditional’ property management company to demonstrate their creative approach and company values, from measuring the daily wind speeds on the roof to dressing their company van as a Santamobile.
