Olympic best at The Cube

Birmingham’s The Cube was honoured to welcome a host of world class athletes and journalists through its doors for the Samsung Diamond League’s Press Conference on Saturday.

The Cube was swamped with press as super star Mo Farah accompanied Jamaican sprint sensation Shelly Ann Fraser, Men’s Hurdle Champion Aries Merritt and Long Jump Greg Rutherford to the world class building. The gold medallists from the London 2012 Olympic Games accommodated photographs and signed autographs for eagerly awaiting fans before commencing interviews in The Cube’s exclusive clubandspa Lounge.

The Cube’s Director, Neil Edginton, who attended the event said, “It’s a privilege to be able to invite the Olympians to The Cube and show off the fantastic city of Birmingham. We are a city that is making a name for itself on the world stage and being able to bring international athletes and journalists to one of the city’s most iconic buildings will show the world that Birmingham has come on leaps and bounds in recent years.”
